Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule
The official list below shows time periods that are reserved not confirmed exams. Check with your instructor whether or not the final exam for a course will be conducted during this time.

Locations
The Exam Schedule lists the locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. Check out the exam pages for additional information about exam content, exam terms and conditions, as well as additional guidelines. If you require special accommodations because of chronic disease, visual or hearing impairment or other disabilities make contact with the exam provider and provide detailed documents when you register.
The Faculty Dashboard in Workday has a "View My Teaching Schedule" that allows faculty to find their exam schedules. In addition the Registrar's Office has a list of exam times for courses that have exams required by NYSED regulations. For evening classes, final exams are scheduled during the regular class time during the exam week.

Registration
Students are encouraged to look up the exam schedule online. However it is crucial to keep in mind that the final exam schedule could be altered at any time. This is why students should check with their instructors to ensure that they have the correct date and time for their exam. Students should also make certain to print the official list and bring it with them for their exams.
In addition to the exam schedule, students should familiarize themselves with the exam guidelines and conditions and terms. These are available on the individual exam page. Upon registration, students acknowledge that they agree to these terms and conditions.
Exam locations will do their best to accommodate students who have special requirements. The nature and extent of these needs must be noted on the registration form and confirmed by a doctor's attestation. The locations for the exam must respect and maintain confidentiality.
If a student is scheduled to take three tests on the same day, they should contact their department or instructor to arrange for a make-up test. Although it is possible to take three exams in one day, it could cause a high stress level and can impact the quality of the test. The professor might not be able to give an additional test to make up for the missed day.
Students should review their course material before taking the exam and practice their German skills. The test is a written test that measures your ability to read, speak, and write German. The exam results are presented on a scale from A1 to C2. Students who succeed in passing the test are awarded a Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate confirms that the student has reached language level A1. This level corresponds with the first level of the six-level scale of competence laid out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The exam is free of cost. Students are required to carry a valid government ID to the test. Those who do not have an acceptable photo ID will be disqualified from taking the exam.
Fees
If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to be awarded a Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you must pay the exam fee. cena egzaminu a1 is in addition to the course fee.
Practice assessments allow you to get familiar with the format of the questions, their wording, and the difficulty of the questions on the test. They help you assess your understanding, find gaps and increase your chances of acing the exam.
Please take note that the fee for exams is non-refundable. Examination results are only available via email and not by phone.
